I'm very excited because this Monday, @artist.kellyjoyladd is back with me at @wprk. We're going to discuss things that bring us joy and decluttering the rest.
One of my artifacts is this nametag, dating back over 25 years. It was not only one of my favorite jobs, I met some really good friends at @embryriddledaytona, and all I had to do was be really good at math.
Tune in on Monday starting at 7a, or subscribe to the podcast for the recorded version!
This is my @orlandofringe ring. Back in 1993, the Orlando Fringe was held in and around Church Street. Downtown Orlando was one of the most popular spots around, before the theme parks and suburbs and city ordinances drew and pushed people away.
I had no idea what Fringe was. I didn't even live in Orlando yet. A fellow student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University suggested a roadtrip to check it out. I was not a spontaneous nor exploratory person at the time, so I said, "No thanks!" He wore me down, and I'm grateful for it. I bought the ring as an artifact of that night, and I found it in time for this year's Fringe. I'll be wearing it to every show, and whenever I'm at the Fringe Feels table.
