Nick Georgoudiou

Nick GeorgoudiouNick Georgoudiou is a writer, podcaster, public speaker, 3D printer, and maker. Along with hosting and producing To a Certain Degree, he writes for the Downtown Orlando Community Paper, appears as a guest on other podcasts, teaches at R School, and several dozen other things.

Nick fell in love with radio and likely the sound of his own voice while volunteering at WUCF-FM 89.9 in the mid-90s. At the time, students were able to volunteer for news and sports broadcasts, as well as on-air shifts.

Starting on the news side of the house, he eventually became news director, late night DJ and assistant music director at the station. After a brief stint at a local television station, Nick realized that commercial broadcasting wasn’t for him.

Many years passed before To a Certain Degree started up at WPRK-FM 91.5. The current iteration of the show launched in May 2016 featuring long-form interviews of local residents who are doing something neat.
