Debbie Goetz didn’t intend on becoming a publisher. She was doing well as a realtor, a parent, and an active member of the community, especially in College Park. When the opportunity came along to purchase the College Park Community Paper, it wasn’t an immediate yes.
Almost 10 years later, she couldn’t imagine life without it. The paper is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary, and a few years ago she started a downtown edition to cover the growing residential population there.
