Get a movie on

There is a certain amount of arm-twisting and gnashing of teeth when it comes to trying new things. People, even kids, like their routines, especially those that require little effort on their part.

Getting them to the museum (pictured) or other free/cheap/non-theme park destinations requires a soft touch or short fuse, and we don’t always make it. Sometimes though, the exploring they do brings up some great stories, like the ones below. Take a gander and share with a little one in your world.

The OceanMaker from Mighty Coconut. No words needed, and a much more interesting dystopian future than any of the young adult novels turned movies.
